Jalin Scott Willyard

Jalin Scott, was born on June 17, 1999 to Rebekah (Wheeler) and Jeremy Willyard in Alva, OK he was tragically taken on November 3, 2025 at the age of 26 years, 4 months and 17 days. A 2018 Alva high school graduate, he attended NW Tech of Alva from 2016 to 2018 taking auto mechanics and electrical assistance. Married to Kyra Prophet on December 16, 2020 and to this union three children were born Jaxson, Kaelyn and Karter. Jalin lived in Alva most of his life; in his younger years he also lived in West Monroe LA and Fortville IN. He an exceedingly active he played football for Alva High and Woodlawn Jr High; was involved in Boy Scouts, band, FFA, FFCLA; loved Rodeo, disc golf, soccer and playing guitar. Following family tradition he became an ordained minister; officiating for his brother and recently a co-worker. As a Journeyman Electrician was scheduled to test out as a Master Electrician. Jalin pursued certification as an EMT with goals of becoming an EMT and establishing a church ministry. Spreading his infectious laugh, bright smile, beautiful voice and loving spirit; Jalin was the life of every family gathering and party. Loved by everyone, we will miss the “Karaoke King” who always said “Life’s a Garden, Dig-it” and “Git’er Done” Preceded in death by his father, Jeremy Willyard, infant son, Jaxson Willyard, grandparents Vicki Lancaster Willyard, Rev.
