Debra Ann Rees

Debra Ann Rees, daughter of Elizabeth Jane (Pack) and Joseph Thebo, was born on April 16, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri. She passed away at her home with her family in attendance on September 21, 2019 at the age of 64 Years, 5 Months 5 Days. A mother of 3 biological, and 5 bonus kids. She was the significant other of Carroll Mahoney for 23 years. Debbie worked at Golden Point from 1972 to 1975, later a 7-11 Quick Store for a time. Moving to Alva , Oklahoma in 1981, working at the VIP Supper Club, from1981-1991, operating a home daycare from 1991-1994, Ampride from 1994-2002, then the Holiday Motel as a house keeper from 2002-2004, and then she got the privilege of working at Beadles nursing home from 2004 to the day she passed away. At Beadles she was the head housekeeper and laundry. She loved all her residents and coworkers. Debbie’s hobbies were, doing crossword puzzles (which she loved doing), straightening kids up, family get together, traveling, making her famous tacos for anyone that had heard of them and wanted them, growing plants, crafts and spending lots of time with grandkids. Debbie was preceded in death by both her parents Jospeh and Elizabeth, her significate other Carroll, Brother’s Joe Thebo, & Keith Thebo, Grandson Bryse Alan Johnson. Debbie is survived by her kids: Sherry Maxwell of Alva OK, Stephanie Burden and husband Jackie of Hobart, OK, Dalton Mahoney of Broken Bow OK. Step-kids Jacobi Mahoney and significate other Sabrena of Pueblo Co, Justin Sellers of Enid OK, Jessie Sellers and wife Lisa of Bartlesville, OK, Special Daughter Melissa Cunningham and significate other Dean Steffens of Alva OK. 13 grandchildren: Mandra Maxwell, Jaden Liebsch, Paityn Liebsch, Kasidy, Gavin, Karly Mahoney, Taylor & Laura Cunningham, James Sellers, Valerie & Stvn Hartman, Tanner Sellers. 3 great grandchildren Za’Niyah, Macee, and Drew. Her brothers; Darren Thebo of Colorado, Eric Thebo of Oklahoma and Jessie Brynjulson of New Mexico, Shadow Reupert of Las Vegas NV. She helped raise all of her nieces and nephews, and helped them with their children.
