Robert Galbreath
August 4, 1941 - August 8, 2011
Robert Dean, son of Inez Lucille (Morrison) and Harold Edward Galbreath, was born on August 4, 1941 near Aline, Oklahoma. He passed away at the Meridian Nursing and Rehab Center in Wichita, Kansas on the 8th day of August at the age of 70 years and 4 days. He attended the Dacoma School System and graduated with the class of 1959. He was active in the FFA showing sheep and hogs. On July 5, 1963 at the Christ Bible Church in Dacoma, Bob was married to Rita Arndt. To their marriage two children, Shelley and Rick were born. Following their marriage they lived in Dacoma where he drove truck for Jim Leslie and owned a mechanic shop. In 1974 they moved to Colorado and he drilled water wells. In 1976 he returned to Dacoma and worked with Eldon Morrison doing auto and small engine repair. He began working as a rough neck and driller in the oil field in 1978. In 1985 he started farming and raising cattle. Robert loved to fish and hunt. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Edward Galbreath. Bob is survived by his two children, Shelley and her husband Joel Glenn of Valley Center, Kansas and Rick of Dacoma; four grandchildren, Brandon and Lindsay Glenn, Joshua and Diana Glenn, Chelsey Glenn and Ericka and Tim Boblett; three great grandchildren, Christian Glenn, Emily Glenn and Logan Boblett. He is also survived by his mother, Inez Galbreath of Wichita, Kansas and other relatives and friends.
