Nadine Lois Keitel Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Nadine Lois Keitel was born on September 18, 1930 and passed away on December 25, 2016 at the age of 86 yrs, 3 months, and 7 days. Nadine was born in Capron, Oklahoma to Walter Joseph and Hulda (Quast) Kunzman. She graduated from Capron High School in 1948. Obtaining her degree in Business, Nadine graduated from NWOSU, she worked for the Alva Farmer�s Co-op in book-keeping. While working at the Co-op, she met Richard Eugene Keitel whom she later married on May 9, 1954. To this marriage, two children were born: Georgianna and Bruce. Nadine�s passions included the PTA, gardening at her home, bridge club, and being an active member in the Household Extension Club and Oklahoma Garden Club. She later became president of the Oklahoma Garden Club. She was also an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Alva. Later in her career, Nadine worked at Panhandle Nutrition Center until retiring in 2008. After retiring, Nadine loved spending time with family and working on crafts and garden projects around her home. In the last years of her life, Nadine was surrounded by her family and special friends - Kathi Harvey and Reta Faye Lancaster. Nadine is survived by her sister Xenia Gallaugher, her daughter Georgianna Gagnon and husband Glenn, son Bruce Keitel and wife Michelle, grandchildren Luke and Desirae Gagnon, Abbey Gagnon and Richard Bachmann, Joshua Keitel, Chelsie and George Tripp, and Pyper Holt, and great-grandchildren Zoey and Izabella Gagnon, Zachariah and Kobi Keitel, Aaron, Shania, and Lilith Tripp. Nadine loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all her heart and spent many hours with them. Preceding Nadine in death were her parents, Walter Joseph and Hulda Kunzman, her husband Richard Eugene Keitel, a sister, Stella Arebalo and a nephew W.J. Gallaugher. In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe given to the Zion Lutheran Church or Senior Citizens Center in Alva, OK.
