Max Morland

August 20, 1932 - February 12, 2012

Max Eugene, son of Pearl (Bonner) and Floyd Morland was born on August 20, 1932 near Whitehorse, Oklahoma. He passed at the Claremore V.A. Center on the 12th of February at the age of 79 years, 5 months and 23 days. He attended the Freedom School System and graduated with the class of 1950. He enlisted and served in the U.S. Navy, the Air Force and the U.S. Army for 20 years and 5 days. After serving his country he worked for Beoing Aircraft in Wichita. When he retired he moved to Hardtner, Kansas. In June of 2011 he went to live with his sister until he broke his hip and moved to the Claremore V.A. Center in January of this year. Mr. Morland was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Gerald and Richard; a niece Nancy; an infant nephew Gerald Jr. Max is survived by his sister Coeta Wells of Owasso, Oklahoma; two brothers and their wives, Kenneth Dale and Ethel Faye of Strafford Missouri, Floyd and Cindy of Kingman, Arizona; nine nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
