Anita Schick

January 15, 1910 - July 6, 2007

Anita L. Daughter of Lena and Ben Meier was born January 15, 1910 in Lincoln, Kansas and she passed away at the Alva Share Medical Center on the 16th of July at the age of 97 years, 6 months and 1 day. At a very early age her family moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Where she lived until meeting Herman Schick. Miss Meier was married to him on July 10, 1927. To their marriage two daughters; Hazel and Margaret were born. Mr. Schick passed away on June 13, 1973. Following their marriage they came to Alva to a farm east of town. On December 27, 1974 she was married to Harry A. Rauh in Alva. He passed away on March 1, 1991. Following their marriage they made their home in Alva. She was a life long member of the Alva Zion Lutheran Church. Mrs. Rauh was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Fred and Alfred and a nephew Hubert Wiersig. Anita is survived by her two daughters and their husbands; Hazel and Darryl Woodson of Farmington, New Mexico and Margaret and Bob Pinegar, a step-daughter, Verna Dubbin all of Alva. Three grandsons; Greg Pinegar of Alva, Doug and Gina Woodson and their two children, McCall and Sofie all of Oklahoma City, Darren and Margie Woodson and their three children, Kendra, Keisy and Shane all of Farmington, New Mexico. A sister, Frieda Wiersig and her children, Arlene Thies and Loris Wiersig of Oklahoma City and Virgil and Lavon Wiersig of Alva, other relatives and friends. PDF Printable Version
